We are in!! Ekuphumleni Old Age Home in Guguletu is our new home. Literally. From 1 Nov 2011 we are working with the Department of Social Development to turn care to Older Persons in Guguletu around. What a privilege... and a bonus to have our own 'Lady Gaga' leading the way.

Quoting one of the GERATEC Directors... “A fundamental and key partnership in care initiatives for older people has to be with the Department of Social Development, the government department that acts as the custodian of the Older Persons Act and implementation thereof, and therefore all aged care services. We are thrilled to be partnering the Department of Social Development in the Western Cape, in being appointed as the change agent to turn around the lives of the residents living in Ekuphumleni, Gugulethu, Cape Town.'
