Our vision is a country that is aware and accepting of people with dementia, and provides adequate services to them, their families and other carers.
Every year we train national helpline counsellors for our Fairland office. Please contact nancy@alzheimers.org.za if you are interested in such training. Note that these are volunteer posts and that there is no salary attached. Volunteers work half a day per fortnight, morning or afternoon. We receive donations in support of our work from individuals, trusts and companies and are extremely grateful to them all.

Those we assist and support with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia are our priority. Donations in memory of loved ones who have suffered with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia are gratefully accepted.

The National Office of Epilepsy South Africa provides strategic leadership to the organisation to create a society in which people with epilepsy and other disabilities have equal opportunities to function optimally to achieve their fullest potential in all spheres of life. Mission Statement Our mission is to assist all people affected by diabetes so that their lives may be as healthy and satisfying as possible. Our work includes:

• Informing, encouraging and supporting all people who have diabetes and their families.
• Acting as an advocate for people with diabetes, lobbying for better facilities, cheaper medication and better services.
• Promoting public awareness of diabetes, its symptoms and risks.

Those It is entirely privately funded. It aims to enable people with arthritis to live a valuable life in all its dimensions through increasing awareness, providing education and offering support.
